Kroger Rx Savings Club Privacy Policy

What is Kroger Rx Savings Club. Kroger Rx Savings Club is a new subscription service offered by GoodRx (“we,” “us,” “our”) that offers drastically reduced discounts on prescription drugs and healthcare services to you and your family. The terms and conditions set forth here are in addition to the general terms and conditions contained in the GoodRx General Privacy Policy, located here. In the event there is a conflict between the Kroger Rx Savings Club privacy policy listed here and those contained in the GoodRx General Privacy Policy, the terms here shall govern with respect to the Kroger Rx Savings Club program.

Signing up for Kroger Rx Savings Club is open only to adults who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority) in their states of residence (account holders may add family members under the age of 18 to their account). If you are under the age of majority, please do not create an account.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU

Please review our policy here regarding information we collect passively when you visit our website, such as your IP address and various actions you may take while visiting our site. In addition, when you become a member of Kroger Rx Savings Club, we collect additional information that you provide us.

Information About You. When you join Kroger Rx Savings Club, you will be asked for your first name, last name, date of birth, mailing address and credit card information. This information allows us to match your membership with the information on file with your pharmacy and for us to bill you for your membership. We also send you commercial messages, updates on your membership, and information about your account, using the email address you provided. GoodRx complies with CAN-SPAM and you may subsequently opt-out of receiving commercial messages from us by following the directions contained in any commercial email communication. You may still receive messages about your account, including messages pertaining to the renewal of your subscription, member benefits, and so forth.

Information About Family Members. If you sign up for a family membership, GoodRx allows you to add up to 6 total family members (including yourself) to your account. Family members may be added to your account or, if they are over 18, they can make their own accounts and connect them to your membership. When you add family members, we ask for their first name, last name, and dates of birth. If a family member is under the age of 13, GoodRx does not request any additional contact information, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. Credit Card Information. A Kroger Rx Savings Club subscription costs $36 for an annual individual membership and $72 for an annual family membership. Your credit card information will be charged on the day that you register. You will have 30 days from the date of your registration to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund. You can cancel by logging into your account at krogersc.com or by calling (855) 912-6346. Please see the Terms of Service for additional details about the cancellation policy. We share your relevant credit card information with our third party payment processor (Stripe, stripe.com), which uses SSL technology to store your information and bill you on a monthly basis, until you tell us to stop.

Your subscription will auto-renew on the one-year anniversary of your membership. You will have 30 days before and 30 days after the date of your auto-renewal to cancel your subscription and, if you have been charged for your subscription renewal, receive a full refund. You can cancel by logging into your account at krogersc.com or by calling (855) 912-6346. Please see the Terms of Service for additional details about the cancellation policy. We will pause your account if your credit card fails on auto-renewal. You will receive an email indicating auto-renew didn't work on and have the option to update your credit card information.

Information about your Prescriptions. When you use your card at a participating pharmacy, that information provided to us, stored and the information is added to your account. It is displayed in your account and we will send you emails regarding your prescriptions. Through the tools in your account, you can control whether your prescription name is displayed in the emails, and you may opt out of receiving these prescription-related emails.

Each member and Add-On Member may view their own prescription history on the website and mobile application. If you are a member that has added other people to your membership (“Add-On Member”), you may automatically view the prescription history of Add-On Members who are under the age of 13, and you may view the prescription history of Add-On Members who are over the age of 13 only with the permission of the Add-On Member (which permission you may request through the websites and mobile applications).

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

GoodRx uses the information it collects about you to manage your subscription service and to send you promotional material we believe will be of interest to you. We also use your information to engage in research and analytics, to update and improve the website, and to provide better customer services overall. In some cases, we may share information with third parties, including partners like The Kroger Co. (“Kroger”) or those who facilitate mailing membership materials or marketing. We may also send promotions materials to you at the contact information you provided.

GoodRx may send you commercial messages regarding marketing and promotions, special Kroger Rx Savings Club benefits, and transactional messages about the status of your account, such as information about signing up or renewing your account.

CANCELLING YOUR ACCOUNT

If you cancel your account, we may still use the information you provided to improve our services, to provide you with discounts and to market to you. Please note that although you have cancelled your account, you may still receive commercial email messages from GoodRx or Kroger until you opt out of receiving them, which can be done by following the instructions contained in the email message. We or Kroger may also send coupons and offers to the contact information you provided. Any information we have collected on you will remain in our database.
